  • What is the difference between indoor and outdoor storage units?
    Ours are heated and secure, limited access for only customers. Outdoors storage units are exposed to elements when loading & unloading, cold, much more probability of mice and rodents.
  • How do I know what storage unit is best for me?
    Many factors come in to play; how long do you need to store your belongings, do you need access regularly, (Murphy's law what you need will be in the back). But in general a 10x10 unit can accommodate 2-3 rooms of furniture, 10x20 unit can accommodate 4-5 rooms.
  • Do you offer RV, boat, car and motorcycle storage?
    No.
  • How wide are the doors to the storage units?
    At least 36" on smaller units. All large units are 78" wide.
  • What size units are available?
    Standard unit sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, 10x15, 10x20. As this was a retrofit of a building many different sizes in between.
  • How do I get my items to the unit?
    We have 7 different doors to access the facility (not a terribly long walk to any unit). We also provide rolling carts to assist.
  • When can I access my unit?
    Monday - Friday: 8am-7pm Saturday: 8am-5pm Sunday: 8am-4pm
  • How many access points are there?
    There are 7 access points.
  • How do I access the storage facility?
    You can enter any of the 7 access points to get to your storage unit.
  • Do you sell boxes and storage supplies?
    Yes, we sell boxes and storage supplies.
  • Do you have handcarts and dollies available at your facility?
    Yes, we have handcarts and dollies available to use.
  • How do I get my lock for my unit?
    We sell locks or you can bring your own lock.
  • Can I bring my own lock to put on my unit?
    Yes, you can bring your own lock however we do sell locks.
  • Is there a way to get special access hours?
    We do have a limited amount of spaces with 24 hour access, with prior arrangements special time may be able to be granted. There would most likely be a fee for this service.
  • What is self storage?
    A facility of individual units of varying sizes with single doors that the consumer keeps secured with their own lock. The facility management does not have access to your belongings.
  • When can I move in?
    Our facility is open 7 days a week.
  • How often do prices change?
    We normally adjust our prices every two years in January. We always give 60 days notice prior to any price change.
  • Does Allways Self Storage charge a deposit or admin fees?
    No deposit or administrative fee is charged.
  • How much notice is needed before I can move out?
    As long as your rent is current and you vacate completely prior to the end of the month no notice is required.
  • What documentation do I need to provide to rent a unit?
    Drivers license or similar form of ID.
  • Do I need to sign a long-term lease?
    No, although we do offer a month free if you pay for a year in advance.
  • How do I make a payment and what forms of payment do you accept?

  • Are there items that I am NOT able to store?
    No flammable liquids or combustible materials.
  • Is there insurance coverage provided or do I need to acquire my own?
    No coverage is offered from Self Storage facilities as we do not know what is being stored or the value of what is being stored. We recommend checking with your homeowners or renters policy to see if you are covered or if they offer a rider to the existing policy.
  • Are the units climate controlled?
    We are an indoor heated facility. It is not Air Conditioned.
  • Are the units monitored for pests?
    We have a twice monthly exterminating service come in as a preventive measure.
